 How do you know someone is smart/intelligent/mentally capable? When is being smart a good thing and when does it put a person at risk socially?

 I think that you are smart if you know what you are talking about and if you arent scared to give your opinion on something.

I just wrote a draft of an article that got me thinking about ice cream cones.  Describe in detail your most memorable ice cream cone moment. 

My best ice cream moment is when I eat an apple pie that ive baked with vanilla ice cream on top and when its a cold day and im watching a show 

Why do you think California is so legendary for so many people around the world?

I think California is legendary because of all the fun places we have like Hollywood, Malibu , San Fransisco , etc... and the activities and amusment parks in thoose areas 

MY DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

 The declaration of Independance from what I understood last semester was that they didn't like how Great Britain treated them so 13 American colonies announced the creation of their new country also The decleration of Independance is supposed to represent what we believe in , I might be wrong and If I am please correct me but thats kind of what I took in from reading about it.

IM GETTING GOOD AT THIS 03/06

 Thought process while reading the email was who or what is Greta and what does this have to do with the harvests dying and when I researched her the first thing that popped up was "Greta Tintin Eleonora Ernman Thunberg is a Swedish environmental activist who is internationally known for challenging world leaders to take immediate action against climate change." then I realized this had something to do with climate change and so I researched more about her. I also googled how many types of apples are there like it said in the email and what popped up was their is 7,500 apples but you won't find them in the grocery store and when I clicked on it to finish reading the website was blocked or just really slow because it continued on loading for about 4 mins and I refreshed it but that did nothing so I couldn't finish reading that article.

 I love traveling, but I love coming home even more. Which do you prefer? What do you think of when you feel 'at home'-- and why do you feel more at home in some places than others?

My family and I travel a lot and yes I love the feeling of coming home because I feel safe and well at home and at hotels I dont because I think about 1000 ways the hotel is dirty and I feel very uncomfortable , I think we feel at home because we are comfortable and know the place we call home 

What sort of "test" do you need to pass to prove your worthiness in your Masterpiece field? How have others in the field proven themselves?

The test you would have to pass for becoming a pediatrician is probably being able to identify the symptoms and giving a reasonable hypothesis also you are going to need to be able to do cpr and the reason for these tests is to show that you can save someone's life and somebody can rely on you to make them feel better 

 Why do you think this is the case? Do you think that when it's safe to return to school and being with other people in public spaces, people will be happier, or will they continue being discontented about other things? Might they even miss the time they spent at home during the pandemic? What do you think?

I think that us humans like to have things we can't that's why I believe that even if we went back to normal we would say "ugh, I wish I was home right now" we are just never pleased with what we have.If we ever go back to normal I know we would still complain about the minimal things like long lines  and going to party's etc.. 

INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL DATA NOTES

• Discrete and discreet are totally different one means to be careful or sneaky and the other means separate and distinct 
• analog signal is a continues signal it has a beginning a middle and an end it doesn't have tiny slices like a digital signal
• we aren't really seeing each other we are seeing little colored pixels 
• digital data is 0 and 1 
• as an example Dr. Preston used a YouTube video as a digital signal because you can skip through it 
• electronics are digital examples 

LOOKING AHEAD FROM BEHIND

I am beginning a learning journey. Along the way, I'm going to have to use what I've learned throughout my life. Learning is supposed to be the focus of school, so I'll begin with the courses I took last semester. They're not exactly connected with my Key Interest, which is Pediatric Medicine and or Profiling but I'm making connections as I go. For example, The somewhat connection I made about what I learned last year is that history is important and that I would like to create history and maybe write a book about the history I made in Pediatric medicine or Profiling field and this makes me really want to work hard to be able to achieve that goal by studying and going to college reaching my carrer goal and living a good wild, crazy life.

Traditionally, teachers see your thinking for 50 minutes a day, five days a week (if you show up every day, and there aren't any breaks in the schedule, and you share what you know).  You see your thinking every waking moment of your life.  So... who is the best judge of your thinking?
Everything you know about school is being reversed in this course.  The student is at the top of the organizational chart; the teacher, the community, and the tools of the Information Age all work for you now.  As the CEO of your personal learning organization, you recognize that power brings responsibility-- most importantly, the responsibility to evaluate your performance and set a course that leads to success.  So, today's journal topic is this: how are you doing on your masterpiece so far and where do you see it heading?  Are you satisfied with the work you've done so far?  Do you see opportunities we haven't discussed?

I am doing well in my masterpiece journey and its heading to my college considerations and college scholarships which I am looking into. Yes I am satisfied with what I have done so far in this course. Yes,I see a lot of opportunities and especially with scholarships and a good book about how this course helped me more than regular programmed school class has 

 Who judges you most harshly? Teachers, parents, coaches, clergy, siblings, friends? You? What effect does this have on you? Does it motivate you? Does it make you feel badly?  Explain.

In my case my bestfriend , my sister and my parents judge the most harshest because my parents ans sister obviously want me to succeed so if they yell at me for not doing my work I totally get that. My bestfriend judges me in an outside type of way and she always tell me the truth about how I'm doing in school for example one time she really motivated me by saying "you really want to be homeless huh ?" and i asked why and she said "well because of your grades" and i dont know why that motivated me so much but I started to study harder that week

How do you define freedom? Do you think "freedom" means the same thing to everyone? Does everyone have an equal chance at freedom? Freedom to me is something that America is known for yet we dont all get it the reason I say this is because a type of freedom that  is not equal is  "freedom of speech" because when we the colored and age varying community did the black life matter protests we were called the police on when we were fighting for equality and the police beat people during these protests yet when white old people make a riot in the capital which is government property they call it "freedom of speech and a calm protest".
