I am beginning a learning journey. Along the way, I'm going to have to use what I've learned throughout my life. Learning is supposed to be the focus of school, so I'll begin with the courses I took last semester. They're not exactly connected with my Key Interest, which is Pediatric Medicine and or Profiling but I'm making connections as I go. For example, The somewhat connection I made about what I learned last year is that history is important and that I would like to create history and maybe write a book about the history I made in Pediatric medicine or Profiling field and this makes me really want to work hard to be able to achieve that goal by studying and going to college reaching my carrer goal and living a good wild, crazy life.

Traditionally, teachers see your thinking for 50 minutes a day, five days a week (if you show up every day, and there aren't any breaks in the schedule, and you share what you know). You see your thinking every waking moment of your life. So... who is the best judge of your thinking?
Everything you know about school is being reversed in this course. The student is at the top of the organizational chart; the teacher, the community, and the tools of the Information Age all work for you now. As the CEO of your personal learning organization, you recognize that power brings responsibility-- most importantly, the responsibility to evaluate your performance and set a course that leads to success. So, today's journal topic is this: how are you doing on your masterpiece so far and where do you see it heading? Are you satisfied with the work you've done so far? Do you see opportunities we haven't discussed?
I am doing well in my masterpiece journey and its heading to my college considerations and college scholarships which I am looking into. Yes I am satisfied with what I have done so far in this course. Yes,I see a lot of opportunities and especially with scholarships and a good book about how this course helped me more than regular programmed school class has
Who judges you most harshly? Teachers, parents, coaches, clergy, siblings, friends? You? What effect does this have on you? Does it motivate you? Does it make you feel badly? Explain.
In my case my bestfriend , my sister and my parents judge the most harshest because my parents ans sister obviously want me to succeed so if they yell at me for not doing my work I totally get that. My bestfriend judges me in an outside type of way and she always tell me the truth about how I'm doing in school for example one time she really motivated me by saying "you really want to be homeless huh ?" and i asked why and she said "well because of your grades" and i dont know why that motivated me so much but I started to study harder that week
How do you define freedom? Do you think "freedom" means the same thing to everyone? Does everyone have an equal chance at freedom? Freedom to me is something that America is known for yet we dont all get it the reason I say this is because a type of freedom that is not equal is "freedom of speech" because when we the colored and age varying community did the black life matter protests we were called the police on when we were fighting for equality and the police beat people during these protests yet when white old people make a riot in the capital which is government property they call it "freedom of speech and a calm protest".
A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO NOT GOING TO SCHOOL
Me and my family have always been close but since we are four it was always my sister and my mom and me and my dad but this year during quarantine my sister and my dad started talking more and my mom stopped working so I became really close to her. I thought I knew her well but turns out I have a lot of things to learn about her childhood, I am so glad we became quarantined because me and my mom are closer than ever now and actually my whole family is super close now and I absolutely love it.

ACCEPTING THE CALL TO ADVENTURE
Journal Topics
I remember how I made friends when I was a kid. It was easy. My two best friends became my best friends when one of us said, "Hey! Wanna be friends?" As we get older, though, it seems more complicated to make and keep friends. Why should this be so? How do you make friends?
I made some of my friends because of soccer, softball, and track and I also made some through other friends and I also make friends in my classes when I dont know anyone so I just start talking to them and we just become friends.

Am I A Hero
In my opinion I think my learning this semester is totally an adventure in the present and future. I believe its an adventure because Dr. Preston doesn't teach like any other teacher, he takes our opinion into value and I think he actually likes his job and does it with passion and this is leading me to an adventure were I enjoy doing my work for this class and this also helps me in my future adventure because everything I'm learning from his class will help me in the long run because of his ways of teaching and this will all help with my future career. So yes i strongly believe this class is an adventure
A Call To Adventure
When I first opened the email it made me laugh but I was very confused I'm not sure if I am correct and maybe tomorrow I will have a better theory but for today this is what I've got.
I did some research of some of the illnesses that are most famous in the places you gave me as a hint and they all have to do with a skin disease so I believe that the people who were sick had this skin disease and the doctor obviously didn't know it was contagious because he isn't a real doctor so he put the babies near them and the babies got it and the detective saw it right away but I am not sure about my theory being correct.

The word future is a loaded topic. What does it even mean? Something that doesn't exist (yet)? How did you first come to understand the idea? How would you explain it to someone who is hearing it for the first time?
I would describe the word future as a path of all the choices you have made in life as something you determine by every choice you make even if its a simple choice like being late to work because that can affect your future. It is a road in which your choices takes you
People talk about you. Or they don't. What difference does it make
This journal topic reminded me of a time I heard a quote and it said "It isn't what they say but what they whisper " Errol Flynn and I just thought that it went along great with this journal topic ,also people talking about you can either make a great influence in your life or a really bad one because someone like a teacher can talk to the manager of the store you applied for a job at and they can say something good and you get the job or they say something negative and you dont so maybe people talking about you can be good or maybe it can be bad it all depends.
When have you said goodbye to someone or something - and felt cheerful about it?
I felt very cheerful when I said goodbye to social media for about a week because I didn't feel pressured to be someone else or to look like someone else ,I also felt cheerful when I let go of the friends I had in school before quarantine because I realize now I didn't feel like myself when I hung around them

Learning Feedback
I think all the feedback I received was valuable and I really enjoyed knowing that my classmates read my post and I think it was cool that they enjoyed learning I have something to release my stress with, I want to learn sign language , and that I want to help families in the future. The feedback i gave focused on the essay and their key interests so they varied in words and advice.

This Weekends Blog Post
This week I joined a program named "open source learning" and we published our key interests , previously programed courses, additional topics, and role mentors.
Some of my key interests are, becoming a pediatrician and or FBI agent and learning about pediatric medicine and profiling. I am really passionate in learning this because I would love to work with little kids and help them and their families because me and my family have not had the best experiences with doctors and because I want to help families I would also love to become an FBI agent. Some additional topics that I am interested in are baking because it releases my stress and my family gives me advice on how to make my pastries better without being mean and they are very supportive.
my other additional topic is learning different languages but mostly French and sign language I love learning sign language because I can now make more friends and help people if they are lost or looking for something because a lot of the times kids who are deaf or hard of hearing dont have a lot of ways of communicate or ask for instructions because not a lot of us know sign language.
Mental fitness is very important because it can help you keep your brain in top shape.
Physical fitness is very important because it helps you get in shape and by being in shape you will feel better and be happier and more positive also if you workout in the morning you will be more awake

Big Question
My big question is "does high school really help you with who you want to be when your older or is it just somewhere you go to pass time ?"
My main interests at the moment are pursuing my dream careers which are either becoming a pediatrician or a Field FBI Agent or a Profiler and the reason i like both of these careers is because i will be able to save someone's live or help somebody. The reason i also want to pursue these careers is because i would really like my parents to see me graduate into a great ,well payed career .

People who experience synesthesia experience phenomena with multiple senses. Exploring this possibility as an idea can help us clarify our own thinking, and even become more creative. So: Describe your favorite music - to a deaf person. My style of music is like if you were in a movie and all you did was sing and jump up and down on your bed and laugh , and just very joyful , I think that the songs i listen to are very up beat and the lyrics has a good meaning .but then some music is also sad songs like in a movie were they just stare out the window of a car and its raining .

People talk a lot about "someday." What if it's today? What can you do right now-- in this very moment and for the rest of the hour-- to achieve your goals, realize your dreams, calm your mind, surpass expectations, and change the world?
If today was that "someday" i would have woken up earlier worked out , read , gone to class and after do my homework , eat then spent time with my family and continue to do that all week with a positive attitude.
Why do we have to re/learn as adults the things (like breathing and using our imagination) that come so naturally to us as children? How can you start over today with an open "child's mind" and see things that you might otherwise have missed?
We can start by forgetting about everything that stresses us out for at least ten minutes and get a clear start in your day
What in your life is messy? Is there value in maintaining its messiness, or would you benefit if the count weren't off?
I think that my schedule is a little bit messy and i think if i cleaned my schedule a little i would get more things done and with more time
